As harry stode along a corridor in early December, he heard a small noise behind him. The next thing he knew, he was on the ground, with firm ropes around his legs and arms. "What a way to start of the cristmas month," he thought. He was suddenly aware of a hand over his mouth, and then, most terrible, something over his eyes! he screamed in terror and tried to bite whoever it was that was holding his mouth shut. Something hard hit the back of his head and he felt himself slip away to the darkness. He woke to find himself tied to a tree, gagged. It was pitch balck, it looked like the forbiddon forest. he breathed a sigh of inward relief, he was still at Hogwarts. A dark shape loomed towards him , but it swept past him to a gap in the trees. Harry could see lights in the distance and a sound of a dog barking. He tried to get up but couldn't; so yelled through the gag, trying desperatly to attact attention. The man swept next to him and removed his hood. It was Sirius. He looked paler than ever, with hollow dark eyes. Harry froze, was a trick? But Sirius had died years ago! "What are you doing here?" Harry stammered as he rubbed his eyes in disbelief. "I am sorry I decieved you," said Sirius calmy, "There was no other way to protect you. My cousin never killed me in the first place. I had met with her many nights before and we discussed a plan to keep the death eaters from harming you. We knew that if it looked like they had killed a prominent member of the Order they would not be so quick to kill you, giving Dumbledoor a and the rest of the Order a chance to appear. Luna's boyfriend is a death eater and he somehow found out about our plan. He kidnapped you to finish the job attempted many times before. I had heard rumors and I worried they were true so I followed you around disguised as a policeman. When he attacked I was ready." Sirius explained. Harry could hardly believe it. He walked over to his godfather shakily and hugged him, trying to let the truth sink in. Suddenly, there was a rustle in the trees. "He'll be looking for us again."
