Sarquon, Lord of Parrots

One day my very old aunt, Mary, died. She was very old and we were very close. So I was not surpised when I was left something in her will. But it was not jewellery or money or anything like that-it was a parrot! When it arrived at my house I thought it could only say things like "Pretty Polly!" But it said to me, "My name is Sarquon, Lord of Parrots, and I am prepared to serve: what is my first assignemnt?" (Sarah, Age 8 to 12, 1/10/2004 9:24:07 AM) (edit) )

I thought the parrot was amazing because of what it says and because it was a lord. The parrot being a lord was kind of freaky and weird. I thought it was hard to believe because if that parrot was really a lord it must be truly important to other parrots. There was one thing I absolutely wanted to know. "Why did Mary give the parrot to me?" She must have known it was a lord because it talks a lot. (Ivy, Age 8 to 12, 04.05.2010 19:54:32) (edit)

The parrot did ask me what his first assignement was, so I told him to get me lots and lots of candy and he did it. Then he said,"I want a real assignement like an adventure!" I said."Ummmmm, well i don't really know a adventure for you to do, I don't even know a parrot that wants a adventure to do!" (Ange, Age 8 to 12, 04.05.2010 19:56:14) (edit)

The dumb parrot kept saying stuff over and over again like it was a robot so i went over to it and looked at his back and guess what i saw... A button switch!! he is a robot!!!! i turn him of and threw him out in the trash. THE END!! (no name, Age 8 to 12, 15.02.2005 00:54:15) (edit)

"I cant believe you threw him out!" My aunt said to me from heaven. "well he was a poor little bird...wasnt he?""well yesd' the end (John cena, Young Adult, 15.02.2005 00:57:10) (edit)

I couldn't believe what i had just done. How could i throw my aunt's best friend away. My aunt saw her parrot as her best friend as she had nobody else to talk to before she died. I went and got the parrot back out the trash as i felt guilty for throwing it out. (Kyle Marshall, Age 13 to 18, 28.02.2005 09:06:20) (edit)

But then, as I stared miserably at the broken battery case, I saw a something small and glowing fall out of the crack, and there was a note attached. "Dear Sarquon, please fly to my grave, and there, you must place three dreams." Huh? I'm not Sarquon... Suddenly I stared in the mirror. I WAS Sarquon! I had all that beautiful bright plumage, and a big yello beak, and in one bright gold claw I held the note. I examined my back, but there wasn't a switch anymore... I goggled disbelievingly at the image that lay before my large, separated eyes. I was only about 13, but never in my life had I seen such an astonishing sight. Still making a decicively difficult effort not to lose my head (though I wouldn't have been very surprised if i had, just then, with all the extremely strange things that had been happening lately) I looked down at the note clasped in my bird-like claw, and pondered what it could mean. "Three dreams" it said in bold print. But to what significance? (Ashley, Age 13 to 18, 07.04.2005 23:13:44) (edit)

I thout well i had too place three dreams i might as well go. affter the cat(mine) chaced me around,i finally reached her grave.suddentley she came out of her grave like goast and said "do you have your wishes" (catherine , Age 8 to 12, 26.04.2005 18:36:56) (edit)
