There was a little girl who liked to wear a bright red cape. Everyone in town called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One day, her mother asked her to bring a basket of food to her grandmother, who lived on the other side of the woods.

Red promised her mother that she would be good; she would go directly to grandma’s house and not stray from the path.

So, Red set off along the path through the forest, skipping merrily along the way.
