(0) LONDON 1945

"please mr Wallace, run the test again". "Look Iam very sorry, but I simply can not do that"."But mr-" "how many times do I have to tell you Russell ?,if you whant to be an archeologyst you have to prove yourself some other way".

Russell was a student at a college in London ,he was twenty years old and had just taken his tests to be an archeologyst and had failed them . Ever since he was a boy he had whanted to be an archeologyst, and now his only chance had gone,or so he thought .

Russell walked miserably home that evening, it was raining and the sky was dark. Down the streets he whent, untill he came to a newspaper shop, he opend the door and stepped in. The shop smelt of fresh paper as it always did, there were huge shelves that displayed the newspapers and a tiny counter at which a small plump man was sat, reading a newspaper "funny thing that stone henge, isn't it ?" said the man holding up the newspaper he was reading to russells eyes, the headline read :MYSTERIOUS INSCRIPTIONS AT STONE HENGE. (Louisa, Age 8 to 12, 11/19/2002 1:23:12 AM, legend_hunter)

(1) Russel's eyes went wide. "What's that?" he said. "Stone Henge, funny, it's been around all this time, we never really thought much about it, and here they are reporting new findings." "Hmmmmm." As a child, the initial spark for his interest in acheology had been the mystery of stone henge. And that interest had only grown as he got older. (2) hE WAS ONLY @ THE AGE 9! (ROBERT, Age 5 to 8, 12/13/2002 6:28:35 PM, legend_hunter)

(3) (What?anyway)The other thing that grew as he got older was his tendency for mistiff. And Russell conceded that this also might hae been the reason Mr.Wallace had not let him take his tests again.Russell didn't really blame the senile old man,he would have done the same thing if he were Mr.Wallace.A couple of animals get in the school and everyone holds it against u for the longest time.He went behind the old man and read over his shoulder. As he read the details he had a delightfully wicked idea.A slow smile spread across his face as he ran from the shop and to the school at a dead run. (Brigid, Age 13 to 18, 2/12/2003 5:30:32 PM, legend_hunter)

(4) Russell entered Mr. Wallace's classroom and approached the teacher. "Have you heard the news about the Stongehenge inscriptions? I know I failed my test, but I think I know the answer to the mysterious inscriptions! How about a trip with me down to the stone circle? We can be home before blackout." (Russell, Parent, 4/27/2003 5:12:08 PM, legend_hunter)

(5) The principal replide "I have a lot of wark to do maby later I have to get home to my famly." (sarah nichols, Parent, 4/28/2003 9:48:09 AM, legend_hunter)

(6) When Russel and Mr.wallace were there they went to the stone and Russell said the answer to the mystery was that Stonehenge was made by monkey people. (justin, Age 8 to 12, 4/28/2003 9:50:31 AM, legend_hunter)

(7) Mr.Wallace agreed about the answer. Still wondering Mr.Wallace thought about how they looked. With the thought of the Monkey people with tails, hair, and other monkey charateristcs. (Albert Rodriquez, Age 8 to 12, 4/28/2003 11:25:37 AM, legend_hunter)

(8) How I wish in Singapore there were humans who became monkeys. I think the Monkey people were the caused of the whole thing. Mr Wallace what answer did you agreed about. Mr Wallace why do you think the Monkey people have tails, hair and other monkey characteristics. Some monkeys are found in the wild while some monkeys are found in the zoo. How can monkeys be found in places where there are human beings. (JS(Joyce), Age 8 to 12, 1/5/2004 9:17:03 PM, legend_hunter)

(9) Russel found this very intresting. He wondered whether he could go and inform Mr Wallace about it.Russell grabbed the newspaper and started to run back...... (Noelle, Age 8 to 12, 1/5/2004 9:18:51 PM, legend_hunter)
