The New Kid

(0) Harry, Ron, and Hermione, were on their way to the Great Hall, when a huge ugly spider crash through the front door, and were about to step on Hermione with one of it legs. Harry push Hermione to the ground, and he landed on top of her, they stared at one another for a sec, they both went pink in the face, then they remember there were a huge spider in the place, so they quickly got to their feet, and saw that the spider were going after Ron. Hermione aim her wand and fired a Flipendo Knockback Jinx at it, but that only anger the spider to the point that it went after them again, but before it could do anything, the spider bursted into flames. Then the three saw a eleven year old Gryffindor student, who had short blond hair and blue eyes. Hermione smiled at him and hugged him, Harry and Ron looked puzzled, Harry asked, "What are you doing Hermione?" Hermione let go of the boy and faced them, and she said, "This is Drake, I live next door to him." And may I say you look more beautiful now, than you did then," said Drake. (2) Rons heart pounded strongly, all of his muscles were strenghtened, he had a hard job of hiding his true emotions for Hermione."Why do I lack the power of destroying such threatening beast?" (3) Drake looked over slyly, "well, lets introduce ourselves properly," he walked smoothly over to ron. "Hi i'm Drake." Ron inclined his head sharply, "Ron," he said "Harry Potter" said Harry. (6) That night in the common room Harry and Ron were sitting by the fire going over each other's potions reports. There was a loud creak as Hermione entered the room, her usual five books clenched in her arms. "Ron," she exclaimed as she spotted him, "I'm glad I caught up to you. I need to tell you something." Ron's heart started hammering in his chest as Hermione led him out into the hall. Could she be confessing feelings for him? "Ron," Hermione started, "I need a big favor. Drake asked me to go with him to his home in Switzerland. While I'm gone I want you to knit a couple of hats for the house elves and take notes for me in class." (10) "Hermione wants to leave to go with that Drake kid. All the way in Switzerland!" Ron burst out, "There was a loud bang as Hermione's books fell to the floor. There she stood, shell shocked, staring at Ron as if he was a ghost. "Ron," she stammered nervously, "Do you really mean it?" "Of coarse I do," replied Ron, clutching her hand.
