(0) In the morning at breakfast when every body was in the great hall Dumbledore stood up and said"every one can I get your attention please? I have one announcement before we start our day well we have just been sent a foreign exchange student from America her name is Erica Barron."And with that the bloody Barron came in through the wall and said"did any one say Erica Barron that's my grate great grate great, great, great, great grand daughter..."well as I was saying here's a picture of her." The picture showed a photo of the ugliest girl they had ever seen. Then Dumbledore said"who would like to show her around" and in less than a second Hermione hand shot up Harry slightly frowned at her. Then a curtain came from the door and stood next to Hermione and in five seconds it dropped there stood the most beautiful girl Harry had ever seen she had bright purple eyes and long brow hair. (7) ron harry and hermione walked down the corridor towards the great hall for the first dinner of the year. They heard the usual chatter as they walked in. Hi harry, said the weasley twins. Hi. How does it feel to be a fifth year? said fred Like any other year, said hermione. They sat at the gryffindor table. As they sat down they said thier usual greetings to their fellow gryffindors. The usual sorting hat trial began and ended with 75 out of 312 new students became gryffindors. But what was unusual about that night while they ate was a girl. a girl they've never seen before. harry spotted her first. ron saw her when he followed harry's gaze. who is that, harry asked ron. ron shrugged still staring. harry started to get up and go talk to her but hermione grabbed his arm and sat him back down. the last girl you saw that was by herself and you wanted to go talk to her she turned out to be a slytherin and almost turned you into a newt now sit down. but i'm positive she's a gryffindor. why would she be sitting at our table, said harry. harry turned around to go to her but fred weasley was already there. the girl smiled a small smile but in her eyes harry knew she wasn't interrested in what fred was talking about. the girl got up and shook fred's hand and walked away. i do hope she knows where she is going, said hermione. hermione and the two boys watched her walk out of the great hall. wow, she's great said fred as he passed them to sit back down. after dinner everyone hurried to get to their common rooms. hermione had to show the first years around along with percy. after everyone had settled in their beds for a good night's sleep ron hermione and harry met in the common room and sat by the fire place to talk. that girl is weird if you ask me, said hermione. well, shut up because no one asked you, snapped ron. hermione raised her fist to hit ron but harry stopped her. ron sheilded himself with his arm. alright stop that, said harry. now i think she's just like any other girl. me too, said ron. how about you hermione? i...-don't answer that question, interuppted ron. hermione frowned. then suddenly they heard a scream. it sounded so far away but so close. the trio scrambled for their wands and hurried out of the common room to the corridor. they slide into the corridor with their socks and stopped. the girl's restroom, said hermione. not again, said ron. they raced to the bathroom. hermione went in first. the screams seemed to come from the last stall. they ran towards the end of the bathroom. there was no door to the stall and no toliet. but the new girl they saw at the table was backed up into a corner. her face brightened alittle when she saw the three. help she said. her once pecan brown skin was now paper pale. what was making her scream was a enormous king cobra snake. harry thought quick. get away from her. what do you want?, harry said in parseltongue. the snake turned around and spit venum at him. it hit harry in the face. harry fell to the floor. hermione was quick to get to harry side. ron, cast a light spell or something, cried hermione. the snake faced ron. ron stared at it straight into it's eyes. this is no ordinary snake, thought ron. the eyes were an eerie blood red and glass like. lumnoise, ron said the wrong words and a thick cloud of dust came out from his wand. the snake hissed and slithered through a hole in the wall. hello, ron called coughing. he heard her coughing. someone grabed his hand and and he pulled back. they fell. the girl on top of ron. she got up. harry was at the sink washing his glasses. luckily the venum only hit his glasses. the girl dusted herself off. hermione helped ron up. thank you so much, said the girl. what's your name? asked hermione. jade. jade frelot, said jade. thank you so much for saving me from that putrid snake, she said. i don't know who you are but i don't know how to repay you. my name's ron, said ron. i'm hermine, said hermione, and that's... harry potter, jade finished. you two were so brave. she hugged harry. she shook hermione's hand. she went over and kissed ron. then she quickly said, thanksforsavingmegottagobye. not so fast said professor dumbldore. (16) Hogwarts was having a secret santa and Erica unfortunatly got Draco Malfoy.the next day Draco sensed Erica's presence behind him, following him stealthily. It'd been like that for most of the day, and Draco was getting increasingly irritated. He purposefully walked down an empty corridor alone, and could see Harry sidling after him, not looking very adept at concealing herself in the nonexistent crowd. Finally unable to take it anymore, Draco whirled around and strode a few steps forward, coming face to face with a slightly startled Erica."I don't enjoy being stalked, Barron, and least of all by you.""I'm not stalking you," Erica sounded resentful. "And let me assure you the disgust is mutual." "Then go away. I feel like I'm trapped in a low-grade horror movie." Draco blinked, dazed; he couldn't see anything because he was too close to Erica‘s face, which was less than an inch away from his eyes. Erica kissed him firmly, and Draco was just getting used to the feel of her lips on his own when Erica pulled back. For a moment, Draco Malfoy was speechless; that was a first. Finally, rather breathlessly,"My, Barron. I never thought you had it in you."[A deep breath]. "I hope you're satisfied now, Malfoy, because that's about all I'm going to do.""Oh no worries, Barron, it's more than I expected, anyway."[A blush]. "Really?""Yup. I was actually thinking of suggesting that you kiss me, but I figured you'd run to Dumbledore screaming harassment. Guess I had you pegged wrong."[A scornful noise]. "You hardly even know me, Malfoy.""That's true." [A shrug]. "Well, at least now I know you a little better than most people do.""Yes, you should feel honored." Erica rolled her eyes. It was a crumpled piece of paper, and he curiously smoothed out the creases — all that was written on it was, Harry Potter. Erica stared at it, uncomprehending; it took a moment before realization finally sank in. It didn't take long for them to find Malfoy's bed because it had Erica's picture under it's pillow.George slipped the box of four chocolates on the pillow, with a tag that said in a flowing script, To Malfoy, From Your Girlfriend Erica. It had taken a lot of persuading Dean Thomas to copy Erica's handwriting.As an extra precaution, they bewitched it so that no person other than Malfoy would think that it was a Howler. "This had better work," George said as they tiptoed out of the common room. "If it doesn't, who knows what we'll have to do instead?" Naturally, Gryfindor won because the Slyheryns no longer had fantastic brooms. Malfoy was practically in disgrace. The Gryfindors started singing a song about having brooms doesn't mean having a win. Most of this was obviously directed at Malfoy, who's (subsitute)Shooting Star was blown away from the speed of Harry's Firebolt. Next, Fred took a rool of curlers and put read dye in them.
